Our client, a big financial institution is in full digital transformation and wants to become the number 1 digital bank in Belgium. In order to do that, they are investing in digital teams and technologies and they are becoming increasingly innovative. Their objective is to offer the best user experience and attract the customers to use their online services. They want the CX center to be a strong competence center for all their activities within the company.
They aimed to find an external company that deeply understands digital and their needs in terms of position and way of working, that helps them to find the best human resources ad-hoc but also for permanent positions.
Our client has the biggest UX department in Belgium and since we are experts in that area and fully understand their need of implementing the design thinking methodology in their organisation, they chose us as their preferred supplier. We are proactively hunting for candidates for them and function as ambassadors, spreading the word about them as an attractive employer in digital.
Our relationship with them is evolving from not only providing staffing solutions, but also providing consultancy to shape their future teams. That is why we agreed on a learning and development program in UX especially tailored to the requirements of this financial institution. So we organise workshops to train the experts on topics like UX. We shape the structure of their future teams and do pipeline building for what they might need within the next years.
The company is recruiting all year long for different positions so we are constantly looking for matching candidates for them, especially now that they are in the phase of creating concepts for mobile banking products.
How we succeeded together
Our General Manager Jeroen and our Head of Consultancy Heidi visited the client several times to understand the values of the company and the digital strategy they are following. They were in the middle of their digital transformation and understood that the change must come from within the company and therefore they would need a talented digital team. The bank already had clear positions in mind that they aimed to cover, like UX experts, Visual Designers or Service Designers.
They were for example looking for a visual designer that had experience in banking and also in mobile design. The position had very specific requirements so our Recruitment Consultant Javier proactively started the search for mobile designers. He directly contacted more than 50 people and after closer looks he could present 15 great profiles to the company of which one very talented Visual Designer is now supporting our client to drive the digital change.
